Children of Nyanga

African Portrait Tradition, was always inspirational for a lot of my work. Children of Nyanga, is a visual journey, done at Nyanga, a township outside Cape Town, where all the pleasure of getting dressed and having the portrait done was of incredible joy and connection for the kids and us. Our friend Oyama, gave us her mother home to be our base, and we, me and Natascha Girelli, Danish Art Director, just embarked on this sensorial and visual feast with the children, with them taking us places…..
