About Anna Moskalkova

Anna is an aspiring photographic artist from Spain. Anna’s artistic path began with training in art and music history at the Tchaikovsky Institute of Music in Chelyabinsk, Russia. From an early age she was drawn to poetry and photography as her natural forms of expression. Growing up surrounded by theatre performers and musicians, she absorbed a profound sense of storytelling and presence that continues to shape her vision.

Alongside her artistic formation, she pursued psychology, earning a Bachelor’s degree from South Ural State University and later a Master’s in Art Therapy at Metàfora School in Barcelona. This dual path — between art and psychology — defines her practice, allowing her to explore how images can heal, connect, and give voice to what is often left unspoken.

Her work is rooted in analogue and instant photography. Through the fragile surface of Polaroids, she seeks to uncover hidden layers of memory, intimacy, and identity, strengthening bonds with loved ones and her community while tracing her own sense of belonging. She has trained extensively through courses and workshops in the UK and Spain, and is currently studying at Fotografika Academy. Her practice unfolds as a dialogue between image, memory, and emotion — a space where the personal becomes universal, and where photography acts as both witness and bridge.
