About Jan Ulicki

Jan Ulicki (born 1989) – landscape and reportage photographer from Poland.

In his shots, he tries to show the colorful world, often surrounded by the magic of sunrises and sunsets. He hunts for ideal conditions to best present interesting places from Poland and around the world. He is not afraid of frost, a sleepless night, climbing the roofs of skyscrapers or long hikes. He also works from the air using a drone, thanks to which we see the world from a completely different, new perspective.

He also changes his passion for photography into commercial assignments, mainly in the field of photojournalism. His portfolio includes cooperation with brands such as the Marshal's Office of the Małopolska Province (including during the World Youth Day), the Małopolska Province Office, the Festival of Colors, Lays, Pepsi and Grupa Azoty. For a series of photos of the Tatra Mountains seen from Krakow, he received the title of Tourist Journalist of the Year 2019 in the photojournalism category from the Polish Tourist Organization and the Ministry of Development, which he considers his greatest success to date. His works have also been distinguished in international competitions (including Siena Drone Awards, ND Awards, Tokyo IPA, Fine Art Photography Awards)

He shares his photography knowledge at workshops and lectures on photography.

In cooperation with Power Canvas, he also has his own collection of T-shirts and sweatshirts with his own landscape photos.
