My interest to make this series is the result of all the negative stereotypes of Muslims and negative stereotypes that exist around the Islam.
I’m a atheist, I was raised very open minded. So I have a very open worldview. It doesn’t matter where people come from me, what their background is or what kind of believe they have.
I believe that everyone can live there life as they wish, as long as you respect everyone. I’m interested in all the people in the world, with all their different beliefs, rituals and interests.
I was wondering what it was like as a young person growing up in an Islamic country. For this I contacted three different young people in Morocco. Soukaina lives with her mother, younger brother and five aunts in Fes. Hassan lives with father, mother and sister in Khenifra and small village in the middle Atlas mountains. Rabi lives with several friends in Rabat. With each person I stayed for a while.
Three totally different families, each with there own rituals, but the same believe.
