Abdul, a 17 years old orphan, survived four years in the maximum security prison in Freetown - Sierra Léon. In prison he was just a number - A lonely child hustling for his life. His memories of the past are dark and cloudy, and his body is laced with scars. He says that their is no justice, and that he feels sad and lonely. But, he also knows that he is some how lucky

While standing like a king Mohamed, 20, is overlooking the slum where he lives. He used to be a street boy and was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for smoking marijuana. He admits that he often has bad dreams, and in the quiet moments he feels sad and depressed. However, his body language suggests that he is ready to change his life and that he can handle difficult situations with dignity.

Zahr, 25, a former street boy was charged with murder. He went swimming with friends from the township and one of the boys drowned. The police then charged him with murder and put him in prison. He was innocent. After spending seven years in prison he is a proud father today. He feels happy and loves his new life. He is determined to create a stable income for his new family.
