Coasting

Shot along the English coastline in the wake of the Brexit referendum. I was disenchanted by the divisive rhetoric that had become so prevalent and I wanted to uncover the unifying elements of British culture. I wanted to look for the universal in the personal and find familiarity in unfamiliar places and unfamiliar people. It was important to me to evoke the similarities between us whilst also celebrating the depth and diversity of British culture.
